"A Night Of Unknown Death Or Life" is a collection of short ambient, jazz, noise, & atonal guitar pieces by Scrote from various sessions & soundtracks. Though appearing here and there in projects, none have been available as a collection before now. The music aims to turn from beautiful to disturbing then back again.

Most are left-of-center electric, acoustic, & nylon string guitar pieces though you will also hear mandolin, bass, recorders, and various percussion on a couple tracks as well as guest violinist Joan Ling on "Glass Angels Visited". All pieces were written, performed, recorded, and produced by Scrote.
